We have moved on from the election (except for the Donald who is still ranting about how he "overwhelmingly" won the election and the press is saying, well, that's not exactly true, and the pictures are saying there were a fraction of previous supporters at his inauguration).
What needs to be said now, and observed, is how quickly The Donald tries to take America to a place which is very dark and reminiscent of a horrible time in the history of the world. It all sounds good to say great jobs and bring everything back to America and ban global immigration.
That rhetoric has taken people's eye off of the things which matter as much, or more. The swamp being filled, the Constitution being ignored, the Republicans so blinded by what is happening they can't even speak, and a new fascination with worshiping at the alter of Vladimir Putin. Think about it, do YOU really look up to Putin and admire his brutal tactics? THAT is what people are endorsing. The excuse, well we like The Donald for everything....except we don't like the way he worships Putin. It doesn't work like that. Such behavior is treason by any other name and if a person ran on that platform, admit it, you would skewer him. Would you elect a person who refuses to separate his business from government? You did, and he has told you to go F yourself, he isn't separating the businesses. And what do we even know about the Donald.....he has told us he is a racist, a bigot, a misogynist, a philanderer, and supports a totalitarian regime as his model of governing.
People might like that. Many apparently admire it. But if you think about it just a little, those are not things which define America. So many of us understand where we are headed. The Donald has as much said so. Destroy the existing government, divide the people with chaos through a constant series of juvenile tweets, and implement a fascist regime which is designed to make the wealthy even more wealthy, and the little guy stuck with even larger deficits.
If you are okay with that, fine, Just understand that is where we are headed. There is not pot of gold, nor jobs, nor health care, nor anything which meets the needs of the people. There is misery and pain like you have never endured unless we get this madman out of office quickly.
So those of us who care continue to fight for America. Don't read it if you can't fathom such an outcome. Go read some history books instead. There is an old expression, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...it's a duck. Donald is what he appears to be. It's not a mystery. He has told us as much through his words and actions. I am not imploring anyone to change. I am imploring people to understand.

Now lemme think? Why might that be? It couldn't be all the blunders, asinine actions, and lies he's made in his short time in office? No, it couldn't be that, could it?
The elections forum, where they are were until Nov 8th is quite funny these days. They avoid it now like the plague.
I avoid it like the plague because the election is over, done , finished, why go there to discuss yesterday's news ? The politics and controversies forum is so much more relevant, plus, it is the forum where the biggest shift against Trump is being seen. All you guys do on the election forum is pat yourselves on the backs and spout dumb comments about Hillary and Obama. You guys remind me of the HS football star who is now in his 40's and trying to relive that big game 25 years ago.
Most see this as our country losing. For one thing Trump is alienating our allies and his bromance with Putin is very disturbing to everyone including congress. So sorry, no one is moving on. This is just the beginning.

Trump is not alienating our allies. But he's letting them know they can't wipe their feet on the American flag like they did under both Obama & Bush.
What is wrong with having Russia as an ally? Would you rather be at war with the largest country on the planet that posses a nuclear force that matches our own? That makes absolutely no sense at all.
It is time to move on. Trump derangement is not becoming.
