This is how an autocrat rises to power. First you delegitimize the media and anyone who criticizes you. Then you promote the news outlets that have deliver positive messages about you (aka propaganda).

I am still waiting for CNN to confirm the Orlando nightclub shooting was a terrorist attack. Last I heard from them it was a hate crime. Never mind the terrorist himself said he was doing it in the name of ISIS...
He is correct. The Nice attack took about 72 hours before the news outlets were forced to cover it. Then when they do report it, they speculate which type of right-wing radical it is. Then it will come out later it was a radical islamist or refugee and they will claim they don't know what the motive is.
The MSM instead of reporting the facts, present "PC" talking points. Another major problem is PC isn't fair. If you are white, male, conservative, or Christian, you have no protection like the other special interest groups. There are no advocates that are not lambasted as a multitude of -ists.
As far as I'm concerned the MSM is mostly propaganda and opinion with a few facts thrown in to give the appearance of legitimacy.
The press LOVES to report violence and usually with a gleam in their eye. Ratings are their cash cow. Trump's statement just goes against all common sense. What news director/editor in their right mind would ignore a terrorist attack? Every time they all want to be the first to break the story, or details of the story.
Not too mention, are we supposed to believe that only the press knows about attacks? Not the government and not law enforcement and none of the victims families are saying anything and the reason? There is no reason.

When did the Nice attack happen again? Oh, that's right! 11:30pm on July 14th (Bastille Day). This article was updated just 7 hrs after the attack happened. Further, UPDATED means that the original reporting happened PRIOR TO that time/date stamp....
We ain't heard nothing yet. I used to drive a sales route in a car with only an AM radio from about 1986-2000. I used to listen to talk radio all day and some nights. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Medved, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Ollie North, G. Gordon Liddy and a whole bunch more.
Ronald Reagan opened Pandora’s Box in 1987 by removing the “Fairness Doctrine” from the FCC. The people calling into these shows would make Art Bell’s listeners seem like NASA employees.
Most people on the extreme right don’t know that Reagan created them by allowing their radio personalities to use "alternative facts." It’s no turning back to pre-1987 now, they have been waiting a generation for their true leader.

That's not right, I heard about the attack coming back from work in the radio around 6 pm that same day. When I arrived home I checked CNN online and they will already covering with local videos and pictures. Other online news sites were also covering the incident, they didn't have the whole picture yet. The radio talked about an accident or attack but CNN was already talking about attack probably extremists Islamist, as soon as the eyewitnesses started talking.
Media will never have the facts immediately, that's absurd.
