The US-led coalition has dropped so much ordnance on ISIS, we are literally running low on the relevant munitions.

made the deal with Iran,
Gah! Iran is fighting ISIS tooth and nail, do any of you people read newspapers? Sunni - Shia - does this mean anything? At all?

Through all of this, ISIS grew.
ISIS has lost and lost and lost. FFS, newspapers again. Falluja, Tikrit, Ramada, Abu Ghraib - all of them cities that were controlled buy ISIS and aren't any more.
Trump says the Judges are WRONG. They actually won the case.... they won Bigly. All the news of the 9th circuit decision is from liberal media and fake news. All is well.
If Trump is smart rather than pursuing this in court system, he should examine what exactly about the exec order they objected to... attempt to compromise.
But Trump is not smart and he is not making policy...Bannon is and Bannon wants to burn the government down and the only branch now standing in his way is the judiciary.

...the 9th Circuit's decision is so obviously wrong and will be overturned just like 80%+ of their other decisions.
Most of their decisions don't even get to the supreme court, so 80% of their decisions aren't overturned. The vast majority of their decisions stop at the 9th court of appeals and are the final decision.
A very small number of their decisions are heard by the supreme court. The supreme court might not take this case.
If it even makes it there, it would be overturned with 9 but tied with 8.
Hopefully we will see a couple more seats open up in the next two years.
you do understand that despite what the liberals and despite what the conservatives think when judges get there they tend to move to the middle and tend to drop the crazy
I see math is not your strong suit. How many cases does the 9th Circuit decide on an annual basis? How many cases are heard each year by the Supreme Court?
The 9th Circuit decides about 7,000 cases annually. The Supreme Court decides between 70 and 120 cases annually. Those 70-120 cases come from all 11 regional circuits, plus the D.C. Circuit and the Federal Circuit.
It's not likely that the Court takes up this case (or that the Administration appeals, if they are thinking straight).
Due Process applies. It is located in the Constitution.
NO! It does not apply.
Somalians & others do not have due process under the Constitution.
It does not confer Constitutional Rights to the World.
That vast majority of their decisions don't even get to the supreme court, so 80% of of their decisions aren't overturned. The vast majority of their decisions stop at the 9th court of appeals and are done.
A very small number of their decisions are heard by the supreme court. The supreme court might not take this case.
Okay then, let me clarify - over 80% of the decisions which go on to SCOTUS which is a number more than twice that of other circuit courts whose decisions go before SCOTUS. I thought the implication of my saying they were overturned meant I was referring to those which went before SCOTUS.
Either way, this is an abysmal track record and one which they should be ashamed of as it shows they lack understanding of the Constitution and what is and is not considered Constitutional. Do you really think SCOTUS will pass on this? I think not as it's an incredibly important thing if you look past the fact it's Trump - a court has fundamentally changed what has always been held as an exclusive Executive Power. Yeah, that' a big deal.
ETA: Let me further clarify - by immigration in this respect, I am referring to visas. The other they are changing is the Executive Power regarding national security.
He's probably in rage mode now. His first response was pretty mild. But can he hold it in? Interesting to see if he goes nuclear on twitter later in the evening and makes a total fool of himself.
Well it's without a doubt going to the SCOTUS, so we'll know soon enough.
Even if SCOTUS takes this which is doubtful it will take months not days, besides they may not even take this with 8 justices. His primary focus was a temporary ban while they put new vetting procedures in place, why waste time for 2 to 3 months arguing. Two or three months down the road he will have his changes, so why waste time on this, just get on with it.
