Ah it's good to be a democrat with open borders. Now we can make up for lost money that we still owe Iran by taking in some of their refugees. Fortunately many of them were in a recent protest where they expressed their opinions on America.

Who should we take in first?

Should we really be so worried about cheap talk when those from a country with a history of funding radical. western-hating Islamic schools as well as supplying most of the 9/11 hijackers aren't banned from US entry either?

Absolutely, but the Saudis have money, power, and political clout, so must be treated differently. Anyway, extreme vetting of all people coming and going from the countries with ties to Islamic extremism should be vetted, especially their social media content.

Great. Well now Iran no longer has to fundraise when democrats just gave Iran $400 million and want to give Iran another $2.4 billion. Not a good idea democrats.

Did Obama stand up to Saudi government? Hmmm. No. Michelle even wore a head cover to make sure not to insult Saudi as democrats praised them for last 8 years. Weird.

Exactly why I consider Trump's travel ban a Dog & Pony show, nothing more. Then again maybe I'm just being silly thinking money, power, and political clout don't justify funding/committing acts of terror.

Nobody has suggested open borders. No one has suggested people who just show up with an Iranian passport should be granted entry. I am honestly not sure whether I give you the benefit of the doubt by assuming you know that, or that you don't.

Travelers from Iran are already under highly specific visa requirements - those aren't given out to just anyone. They are, in fact, a pain in the rear to get and capriciously stopping them as matter of signals politics is not exactly encouraging people to follow the rules, stand in line, get their paperwork in order.

Of course - because Trump is a raging incompetent - the ban also extended to Green Card holders, who have been vetted extensively (I have a Green Card, my file is several inches thick, and I came in from Europe, which is easy) and who are by definition living in the US.

I think the Saudis are very experienced in playing us as well as anyone else. In one breath their religious leaders want to kill off the Jews in Israel, and preach the evilness of the West. At the same time they would allow Israel to fly over their territory in case of war with Iran, and have American Military trainers in Saudi teaching their forces.

Open borders are a Democrats and Globalists wildest wet dream.

The annual Iranian demonstration was remarkable this year. The American flag burning was almost completely absent and many in the crowd carried signs thanking Americans who are standing up to Trump and defending the right of people to practice their religion. It was a stark contrast to years past and a hopeful sign. Maybe because of the US demonstrations that are being shown on social media, the rest of the word will cut us a little slack and realize that Trump and his devotees are not what we stand for.
