I'm sure you said the same during 8 years of 'Obummer' and the like, right? And given the names Trump gave his opponents during the campaign, what puts him above it all?
Nope. Never called Obama, obummer, not once. I think his given name is derogatory enough given the fact that history will remember him as an eight year blip with few accomplishments. And please don't cite Obama's signature ACA, that Titanic was doomed from the start.
Satisfy my curiosity. Did you post this the same time I posted, or do you really think mental health professionals aren't serious in their concern over Trump's mental health.
I think mental health professionals should know better. Diagnosing without actually examining someone its actually considered unethical.
I'm no fan of Trump (didn't vote for him), but this is completely unrealistic and absurd.
Why is it absurd? Many Congressmen are expressing concern over his mental health, including Republicans. There is definitely something wrong mentally with Trump.
On the Sunday talk shows, there were several instances where both guests and hosts discussed the possibility that tRump is mentally unfit for office. I'm a newshound and this was the first time I've heard this presented in a reasonable manner on three different networks by credible sources.
The amendment does not require impeachment, this is what it says:
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
That is the FIRST paragraph of Section 4 of the amendment.
You might consider reading the (rather large) last Paragraph. It isn't a done deal once the provisions of the first paragraph are met. There is a LOT more to it! A final decision can take 21 days or more.
Good luck.
do you have any idea what it takes to amend our constitution? Even if we wanted to dump Trump by the time the time the amendment was in place he would be long gone. Don't get your hopes up. One more point: you say there were several instances, explain what the word several means to you. I watched 3 shows, never did the subject even come up.
...and some say that I am not a Constitutional scholar. At least I have a copy right in front of me that I can read, so I know that the 25th Amendment was Ratified on the 10th of February, 1967, and there are currently 26 Amendments.
