Was Flynn acting on his own initiative in contacting the Russians, both before the election and then before the inauguration?

Or, was he being directed to take those actions?

I think the truth will come out as investigators look into it.

Flynn is a retired general.

My view is that he fully understands the concept of chain of command.

Maybe he did act on his own. But I think it's likely that this little kerfuffle could have wide ranging consequences.

However I hope the truth comes out eventually! Lindsay Graham needs to get his commissions up and running investigating this administration.

We don't know what happened, but it won't take much of an investigation to figure it out. The NSA recorded all the communications, so there is already a clear picture of what happened.

Kellyanne Conway basically admitted today that the only reason Flynn was asked to resign is because the media found out and he "became a lightening rod".
