That's such a load. If memory serves, more Repubs have had to leave office because of sex scandals, or for having mistresses, or being secretly gay. Meanwhile, Ted Kennedy, a lecherous drunk, and likely guilty of negligent homicide was an elder statesman, held in high regard. It goes both ways.
