This question only goes to the Anti-Trumpers on this forum. If Trump does get impeached for his connection with Russia. Would you be okay with Mike Pence as President for the next couple of years.
Compared to Trump. Pence seems to be better spoken and has a better temperament. But he's a Christian Right ideologue who would be awful for LGBT and Pro Choice women. It's like picking Chaotic vs Lawful Evil at this point.
I'd rather have Pence as president than Trump. He seems to be much more stable and diplomatic.
Do I agree with him on social issues? No. But I prioritize not getting into wars. I have more trust in him not picking fights with leaders of other countries and unnecessarily burning bridges.
Honestly I would say, yes. Trump does not think his actions out very well. Also the courts/state law and a disinterested Congress could keep some of that under control.

Pence is a puppet and I bet if he spoke honestly he would tell you he hates Trump. I think the country would be safer with Pence because he wouldn't just spout off BS like Trump does. He also wouldn't alienate the media because they report "Facts". This fake news crap has to stop. Trump has brainwashed too many people.

Lol, no. While I agree with Pence on social issues, his economic positions are completely and utterly terrible, unless you are in the 1%

Well, it's true that Pence is "...better spoken and has a better temperament..." than Trump, but that's a bar so low that I know many 8 y-os who could easily step over it.
I think it's Pence's list that Trump is choosing his cabinet members and highest-level staff from. I cannot otherwise explain how this man who has never in his life been mistaken for a christian soldier is now choosing the most rigidly religious right-wing folks he can find.
Asking me which I'd prefer, Trump or Pence, is like asking me which kind of acid I'd like thrown in my face. How on earth am I supposed to respond?
I'd very much be open to him. I realize I'd probably disagree with many of his policy ideas, but the good thing is that you can actually have a logical and sane debate with him about policy. It isn't about changing the truth or anything like that (As it is with Trump) - it's just a good old fashioned mature debate.
And I respect that. And dearly miss it in our political system.
