This is like saying the sun rises from the East, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Vladimir Putin is on a bit of a hot streak among Republicans of late.

In new Gallup polling, more than 3 in 10 Republicans have a favorable view of Putin — almost three times the percentage who said the same in 2015.

That is still a pretty low percentage of Americans...but kind of funny nonetheless. It took Trump winning for some to all of a sudden want a better relationship with Russia...

People like what their leader likes. It's the "follower" mentality.

If Trump said Iran and North Korea are pretty cool countries, you'd see the popularity of those countries skyrocket among the followers.

Of course not. The US has been doing that, off and on, since WWII.

But admiring Putin and thinking he is your BFF could definitely be a bad thing.

Nope, Some of us have been saying for years that we should have a better relationship with Russia or at least stay out of their business. The Reds might have be an unsavory lot but at least they kept the lid on all those little country's that hate us so much, in spite of the treasure and lives we spend on them......

Hahahahahahahahaha

Washington Post cites poll that shows that 7 out of 10 Republicans don't like Putin.

Yet they create title Putin's Popularity Soars Among Republicans.
