Who knows what Kushner, Flynn and Kisylak were discussing that Kushner conveniently forgot to include the contacts on his security application. Unless there was a FISA warrant monitoring that conversation we may never know. Who knows what Jared was up to when he met with the CEO Gorkov, of a sanctioned Russian Vneshecnombank back in December. VEB was rumored to be a cover for a well known Russian spy to use to recruit potential spies. At this point it's very concerning that he conveniently forgot to include these meetings on his security application, which is a felony. Had he not been Trump's SIL do you honestly think he would still possess a high level security interest in the white house?
My mind keeps going back to Flynn asking for immunity very early on in the Russian collusion investigation and Trump's own words that pleading the 5th is an admission of guilt.
Whether Kushner was soliciting a loan from a sanctioned bank for his 666 5th avenue project that is in serious trouble or he was looking for a back door to the Kremlin to possibly negotiate his FIL's potential loans with Russia, or his heart was in the right place and it was about Syria. (Yeah right) You do not establish a back door with a foreign adversary that is hostile to the USA WITHOUT GOING THROUGH OUR INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY PEOPLE. It's at best reckless incompetence, at worse espionage and some where in the middle lies the truth. Either way he is definitely in the wrong. The truth will come out.

No, Obama did not set up communication channels with Iran through an Iranian embassy in order to keep the IC from knowing what he was up to. Lower level folks negotiating is back channel stuff.
What Kushner was going for was espionage -- working with a foreign nation to hide U.S. secrets from the IC -- espionage.
Republicans are backing a nest of Russian spies. Kushner's got no business making phone calls from their embassy.

Kushner looking out for his and Donny's interest...And? This is news? This is a revelation? No, this is really all about government by business, AKA, "business as usual." Every president, every member of Congress, everybody in DC who can exert influence over the government body has been looking out for their own interests forever. This is the swamp Donald was referring to, it's just that he actually planned on expanding that swamp to accommodate his family and business interests. Why the surprise?
Umm, Kushner is under investigation for more than his ties and contacts with the Russians, and as such deserves the focus he is getting, something is definitely off with his actions and it may vey well land him in a Federal Penitentiary.
As for going after trump, that he brought this upon himself for hiring someone he was even warned not to hire, Flynn, and the more that this issue is dug into the more nervous the President seems to get, all the more reason to get to the bottom of the matter. Look, if trump or Kushner did nothing wrong then they will be vindicated and it would shut down the noise machine the right hates hearing, but if he is guilty, heads will roll and trumps head would be among them. What we do not need is another 8 years of one Party making accusations without there being a thorough investigation, either we nip it in the bud and we deal with it now, or we get another 8 years of this yelling back and forth.
Democrats and liberals and RINO's are setting themselves up for a major disappointment. Mike Flynn will pay for his sins, the DNC will be exposed for having lax IT security, Russia will be fingered for being naughty spymasters, and President Trump will remain unscathed.
This is exactly what the final investigation report will tell us. Anyone want to wager?
