How embarrassing for you to have received that response. You never want to hear "Why do you need to know?"

You will find, as you grow in experience and wisdom, that when you ask a question and the response is, "Why do you need to know?", the person with the information clearly doesn't believe you have ANY need to know.
Nice try, but that's not what Trump did. He said he would release his tax returns under certain conditions. Once those conditions were met (i.e. Obama releasing his birth certificate) Trump would move the goal posts. He NEVER ONCE said he wouldn't release them!! His latest incarnation came last February (2016) when he said he would release them in "May or June. When May and June came, he went with the "I'll "release them when the audit is over".

Nothing remotely close to "why do you need to know."

So Trump finally admitted that the supposed audit is complete but he will not release his tax return, why didn't he just say that during the election.

Trump chose to repeatedly promise to release his returns, during the campaign. Once elected, he did a nevermind.

We are talking about his personal returns, not that of Trump Org.
It’s all about the schedules/ attachments.

While not a Hillary supporter, I appreciated she released more than 30 years of returns and all Clinton Foundation returns/ Form 990 have been public information, since their inception.

Trump chooses to deflect from his own broken promises and iterated the “ crooked Hillary” thing.

It is none of our business.

Add to that many people are very jealous of wealthier folks and will let envy cloud good judgment.

Good grief. Many people think they are prosecutors, well versed in Federal law, demanding the unredacted Muller report. And now we have armchair tax professionals.

So why did Trump claim that the only reason he couldn’t release was the audit, just say that so the voters can decide.

He won't show them because the world would see what a stingy jerk he is regarding philanthropy, and also because he is a crook.

The House ways and Means chair has requested the last 6 years from the IRS, personal returns and several of his holding companies by April 10 and there is nothing he can do to block them. It will remain in the committee, not public but they will have full access.

Post your tax returns on this site, and then come back and start a thread like this. Why do you want to see his tax returns? You want to see his **** too?

Every president going back to Nixon has released their returns, I don't recall anyone on CD Data doing the same. LOL

So why couldn't Trump just say that he wasn't releasing his returns rather than claiming he was waiting for the audit to complete.
