Not a shock. The protests they took part in this year (BLM) has changed the WNBA into little more than the Washington Generals once were. So the article just references other aspects of the "culture".

The WNBA set back woman's athletics in general, despite the college game being better than ever.

Just goes to show that any majority can quickly turn to bullies.

It's only news here bc its unusual to see it go the other way.

More b.s.

Read this article.

Had barely anything to do with being gay or straight:

More just about an overall abusive culture trying to mimic the male players.

I don't follow the WNBA but I do believe her. She retired so that she wouldn't have to deal with the toxic environment.

She said that she was being threatened. Please realize that women can and are sexually assaulted by other women. This athlete quit because she was being attacked/threatened for being proud to be heterosexual/straight.

LOL.

Quantify how many straight people are bullied for being straight? Seems like it would be a fraction of a fraction....

The article you posted was just cut and paste from earlier articles . The very beginning of the article you posted states how she felt like an outlier in an overwhelmingly gay league .
ESPN shoves this down our throat with games on all the time when it gets very very low ratings and very little attendance , they give away tickets all the time

After the whole anti police black lives matter protests , I hope the whole league folds
