If wasn't just empty rhetoric to make up any reason you could think of to cry about Obama, if you guys ever actually cared about our international reputation, and if you seriously believed that the behavior of our president was undermining the decades of trust and cooperation between the US and our allies...

You must be spitting mad about how awful Donald Trump is doing as a representative of America.

Talk about undermining faith in America... How do you go from talking ***** about one of our closest allies, to having the weakest demonstration of confidence we've ever seen on the international stage, to talking more ***** AFTER they've left? You think that instills confidence among our allies that our commander in chief has stones to be tough in the face of adversity, when he can't even be tough in the face our allies when he's already been slamming them?

And then there's that complete ignorance about how our alliance works, like it's a bar tab that we're covering this time and next time, they owe us for what we paid. Nothing says let's trust America like a president that literally doesn't understand what the deal is.

And then there's the public humiliation of constantly challenging our intelligence community and being proven wrong, EVERY TIME! How many times does a President get to say the intelligence community is lying, then get proven wrong before those institutions and our allies lose faith in America's ability to lead on the world stage?

And then there's just the general lap-dogness that America is taking to Russian interest in contrast to our allies. All our allies are lined up to coordinate Russian containment and minimize their destabilizing tactics, then comes the Idiot-in-Chief busting through, and trying to undermine our alliance b/c America benefits from removing sanctions from our 30th BIGGEST trade partner? We get more out of trading with Malaysia than we get from Russia, yet Trump thinks we need to work on lifting those sanctions above all else...

But thank God Obama isn't here mucking up our international standing with his good will, effective leadership, and respect for the history of our alliances.

Trump is all over the place.

Tillerson is busy assuring Mexico there won't actually be a military operation. Mattis is assuring Iraq that no, we will not be stealing their oil. Pence is assuring our NATO allies of our unwavering committeement...

Before they can put those fires out, Trump's accused the Brits of wiretapping him and been rude as hell to Markel/Germany.

How silly.

I love how Trump is putting Americans and has no qualms letting the rest of the world know about it.

If the rest of the world is bothered by this then that is their issue. The fact that millions are trying to get into the USA every year speaks for itself how they really feel.

But here's the thing. If you hate the USA so much then why don't you move to Europe and ask them to treat you "special". Let us know how that works out for you.

Merkel knows that she was wiretapped by Obama. How rude was that?

I thought so.

You guys are simply complaining because you are Democrats who can't stand that your party is completely out of power. There is nothing more too it than that.

You mean the wiretapping that's been going on for decades, and the one Bush specifically started on Merkel and that Obama ended? That one?

Trump has indeed created many problems for the USA. Trump has been damaging our relationships from one side of the globe to the other. He has picked fights with almost everyone he has come into contact with.

Even little Ireland's PM Enda Kenny is upset with Trump. Imagine that. Ireland the NEUTRAL country that allowed the USA to use Shannon as a refueling stop during Iraq is angry with us now. Ireland is NEUTRAL, no military alliances , they had to break a rule that survived the second world war to support us in our time of need, and their PM was so angry with Trump he used Saint Patrick's day celebration to remind hateful Trump about values.

Trump who physically towered over Kenny looked like the smallest man in the room.

And here is the problem, this is the standard we see everywhere Trump goes, everytime he speaks. Trump lessens the nation, and dilutes our influence. He leaves other world and national leaders feeling distrustful of him. This is NOT how you make deals. this is how you lose friends . At this point any national leader seeking to boost their standing at home has only to snub or mock Trump. No leader can lose face refusing to deal with Trumpland, No leader will find themselves mocked on late night TV for rejecting Trump.

It is now the "safe" bet to avoid any semblance of being on good terms with Trump.

Theres a difference between letting people know its now America First, and being a international embarrassment.
