A lot of folks were just as happy when Obama won.

It's always this way. I can't think of an election when it was different. At age 72, I've seen a lot of emotions after every Presidential election, especially when it's a first term.

By the second term, the election is always far less emotional.

Someone always wins, someone always loses. I respect all those who are like the OP, even if I don't share his joy. Their feelings are just as legitimate as mine, and it's all part and parcel of a functioning democracy.

What I worry most about is indifference. If the fire ever goes out in an election year, that's when we are all in deep trouble.

The Hillary uranium story has been proven to be false.

The Republicans just can't seem to let go of Hillary. Guess they NEED an opponent to bash to distract from all the dishonesty being hidden by the Trump administration. Give us back Richard Nixon, please! He was not nearly as dishonest, and at least he understood policy.
