Why do Conservatives care more about punishing the lazy than feeding the elderly?
Why do liberals make up "gotcha" headlines like this? Hmmm? This is getting old and everyone sees through this garbage.

Uh.... Newp. Really don't. Should I? Would that help some situation somewhere?

Your personal behavior in the economic system is set by rules of various levels of governments. Businesses play by these sets of rules and you respond to how businesses play the game (i.e free market is the game). The way the rules are set produces societal problems because it channels money left and right (through taxation) at different things. Crime happens because someone wants something they cannot have easily and they have no other alternative. Crime also happens because of a lack of stability in social development. (i.e. fully funded healthcare system to take care of people's needs). So basically what you're saying is, your neighbors are the problem, not how the rules are set. Poverty/homelessness happens because the game (free market) chooses that some people to be paid so low such that having a roof over their head and putting food on the table is impossible. I can go on and on....

If government regulates and sets rules that actually make sense and there's no corrupting influence from the outside. We'd have a better society with less problems. In reality that's not the case. If you had a perfect society, it would be communist. Everyone gets the necessities for survival given out by the government. There would be no such thing as money. Everyone would be treated as equals. There's no rich and poor.

You think people and government are the causes of society's problems. The real problem is the game itself (capitalism).
And yet, for all the sniveling and whining we are subjected to about them, capitalism and the free enterprise system permit individuals to prosper and succeed by being of service to their fellow man, i.e., providing a product or service their human fellows want or need, and supplying it at a profit.

Such a system, I know we will both agree, is vastly superior in every material respect to the system that free enterprise replaced, i.e., looting and plunder, upon which, incidentally, all socialist utopian schemes such as those described above must depend for financial viability.

First you need to show that old people are dying in their homes due to starvation.
I'snt happening.
Next you need to show Church's dont work to feed the hungry. I have yet to know any church that is large enough to provide meal services or participate in food banks to discriminate against anyone needing assistance.

And not to get too off topic, but what's up with the $50 BILLION in additional military funding? That's like Trump's way of saying "nobody is tougher than me! Bigger, stronger military!" and then he gives a thumbs up.

And it's not as if that $50B is going towards improving base housing for enlisted members or going to increase military pay. A majority of that money will end up going to the big military contractors as they build more planes and tanks....that we don't really need.

Didn't Trump say he was going to fix the inner-cities? Has he spoken a word about that since taking office? What if he took that $50 BILLION and pumped it into fixing urban America? Money like that, fifty billion dollars, would make a real difference.

But no, let's buy more F-35 fighter jets @ $94,000,000 each.
