That was Quayle. I remember it. I think around the same time he made the comment when visiting Latin America that he didnt take latin in school. I'm pretty sure that was him on that last part, but I remember it was him on the potato(e).

What exactly would this "miracle" have been? Was he hoping that John McCain would have a heart attack or something so he could win the Republican nomination? Was he hoping that the majority of Americans would write him in as a write-in candidate in November? I had to laugh whenever this guy seriously thought he had a chance of beating McCain.
