This is another reason I personally do not like President Trump.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/25/u...ck-voters.html

To hear Trump talk, it seems like he thinks the majority of Blacks are impoverished ghetto dwellers. Yes, there are more Blacks living in poverty than most other groups. However, a majority of Blacks are not impoverished living in the ghettos.

Everything Trump said doesn't mirror my reality. I'm Black, middle class, college educated, I never lived in the ghetto. I come from a 2 parent home, my father is an educated professional.

Reading this article, one person mentioned that Trump doesn't talk to Black people, but to White people about Black people. I feel that for the most part it is somewhat valid. He might talk to a few Black people. However, when he gave his "vote for me, what do you have to lose" speech, he wasn't giving it in the Black neighborhoods in Milwaukee. He gave this speech in front of mostly White people in West Bend, a suburb of Milwaukee with a tiny Black population. What I got from him was not an appeal to Blacks, but him trying to save his image.

I hear from some people "vote for Trump, he'll do good for Blacks". I didn't see anything that makes me think he cares. He mentioned that he is in favor of a national stop and frisk policy. Link here if you don't believe me: Donald Trump
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/28/n...and-frisk.html

Anyone who could propose that is a threat to me. I look to NYC's stop and frisk. It was basically a violation of the 4th amendment. You need to have probable cause for search and seizure. Stop and Frisk does not operate on probable cause, but a hunch. And before anyone says "it works", look at the data presented in the New York Times. Crime was already dropping in NYC before Stop and Frisk was implemented. The effect it had on crime was not significant by any measure. It was already on a drop. Look at the graphs.

And something else. Stop and Frisk was basically racial profiling on steroids. Most of the persons being stopped and frisked were Blacks and Hispanics. Now, there are those who will say "well, that is because Blacks and Hispanics commit the most crimes". I do not care why. My rights come first. If you violate my 4th Amendment rights, that is a big problem for me. Furthermore, most of the persons who were stopped and frisked were not found to be committing any crimes. It's basically the argument of "your rights are not that important because your kind commits alot of crimes". That is stupid, and it goes down the slippery slope of curtailing rights/going down the road of a dictatorship. This is why I say that anyone who could support a stop and frisk policy would be a threat to me.

The media comes up with fake news stories about Trump being racist, sexist, etc... which he's not.

Yet some people worship Bill Clinton who raped, assaulted, and groped women.

If you think he's not sexist...

I cannot help you.

The "but, Bill Clinton!" defense is weak.

Because he is.

People with money and influence who live in his district in NYC loathe him.

Prove that any of the links I put up are "fake news". All credibility is lost when someone claims something is "fake news". If you can't refute the news, you disagreeing changes nothing.

And I never voted for Bill Clinton. I was 10 years old the last time he was elected.

The love of money is the root of all evil. President Trump is proof of this.

Well, whether or not most black people live in the "hood" doesn't matter. The truth of black people's economic standing is abysmal. In fact, if you're a black person who has 1 million dollars, you are among the top one percent of your entire demographic. What that means is pretty much our entire group is flat. We don't have a middle class.

As for the overall topic of why people hate Trump. I'm pretty sure the man is a narcissist. Not too mention he is among the greedy billionaire class. It is highly ironic that middle white America chose a billionaire to represent them. Why in the world would you choose a greedy person to care for others? This is the man's person and it's surprising anyone would take a liking to such a guy. This has nothing to do with politics. All we've done was elect a person to an office where he can form policy to benefit himself and his friends. Yet I digress. (People wanted a political outsider so bad, they sold their soul to get Trump. Honestly speaking if we wanted an outsider who also had political experience, Bernie Sanders would have been our guy.)
