I voted for someone I believe would have got us out of the wars. He was cheated out of that opportunity.

This bombing will not stop the spread of ISIS ideology. It will only help to spread it.

The war on terror is won by not having a public war on terror, and is certainly not won by conventional means.

We've been lobbing bombs for 17 years, when will we see the effectiveness of our air strikes?

Seems like we just keep making more "targets" ( terrorists) when we kill the innocent, destroy the population centers, depose governments, decimate economies, etc., with our "airstrikes".
And if anything, we are uniting people who might be at ideological odds with each other against us.
The facts all bear this out.
Time for a policy change, your way isn't working.

Won't be long before those we orphaned will be creating an entirely new generation of orphans.

It's so sad. All presidents have done this, and we are hated because of it.

I really hope Trump pulls out of useless wars as promised. I'm starting to doubt it but Obama started this mission and it's difficult to halt it now or so I hear.

We have no business in other peoples countries, no business supplying weapons to random forces. We should protect our country from attack and that's it. Let the rest of the world pick up our slack, we need a rest.

We have killed a lot of innocent people. It's hardly worth the few "bad" guys we get over there. One down and another pops up. Sometimes it the ones we were just funding.

Yes, all from a country supposedly founded in part on a philosophy of non-interventionalism. What a sad crock.

To a family sitting down to dinner, minding their own business, living their own lives, who really is the terrorist here? Why must it be done?

Can you imagine if our police dept's fought "bad guys" here like our military does there?

Bank robber runs into a school, cops take him and 20 or so students and faculty out with a drone strike...no probs. collateral damage, it happens, calm down parents. Ends justify the means, right?

To be fair, desertdetroiter has always been against it, regardless of who was in office.

Wrong. Dead ISIS members can't bomb anyone but the 72 women (sar) awaiting them in paradise as they arrive in 7,200 pieces LOL
