Fox News, specifically Megan Kelly, used audio from a prominent radio host, that is edited in specific points from a Bengazi report, and played it as part of a pedophilia story to involve Hillary Clinton and her campaign guy, John Podesta. This false narrative was used to Virtue Signal viewers, that this radio host was a lunatic conspiracy nut.
Megyn Kelly was and still is after Alex Jones/INFOwars, even going so low as to lie and edit videos to make it seem like Alex Jones accused Hillary Clinton of murdering children in a basement @ Comet Ping Pong Pizza.

It was FOX News that ran with the FAKE News. Proved they ran a false narrative, which started Pizzagate.
I still think there is something there. There have been a whole series of reports, and reactions to reports that has taken place. And all of that is supposed to go away because Jones read a prepared statement and scrubbed his online material?
Alefantis is not one of the most powerful people because he makes pizza.
If it's false, then it would die on it's own. But people are putting in time and effort to ensure material is scrubbed... and Jones made a business decision.
The whole thing has been around long before it got to TV. Jones was just the one with the bullhorn.
Sharks are in the water now - and with Jones being gored, this will go away for some time now.
Michael Cernovich is attributed with being the source of Pizzagate.
60 Minutes did a segment on Fake News last night and interviewed him. He claims his stories are 100 % true because he believes them. Alrighty then.
The segment also exposes how cheap and easy it is to create a trending story so long as it has a sensational headline.
According to another guest, some kind of expert, who studies the phenomena of fake news, those who frequent Internet forums are more likely to believe fake news, no matter their politics/ ideologies. It's all about echo chambers.

Fox News references different audio, to frame radio personality.
Pretty much the par of the course with FOX "News"
