So at the cost of another $3-4 million Donny is once again jetting off to his "Richy Rich" Florida hideaway under the guise of it being a better environment for his upcoming meeting with the President of China. Never mind that the dude doesn't even like or play golf, has closed down hundreds of golf courses in China, and has banned all 88 million of the Chinese communist party from playing golf. But since Donny doesn't do facts guess none of this matters.
To me this just reeks of him doing nothing more than promoting his brand and his club at our expense and dissing a foreign leader in the process. Is there anybody that thinks these talks could not have taken place at the WH or Camp David and achieve a similar result?
Because tRump is about to be handed his butt by Xi. The last thing in the world he wants is to have reporters and cameras all over the place covering what's shaping up to be one more embarrassing setback. It's likely that he'll try to cover up whatever "agreements" Xi shoves down his throat.
So, he wisely runs off to Mar-A-Loco to hide from the media.
You want to use Maralago? Fine, but pay for it yourself and for the security. How is it a better place than the Whitehouse?
The POTUS should be given a travel budget that can't be violated except for during a declared war or national emergency. They should not have spending carte blanche.
Someone needs to beat Trump over the head until he realizes he is blowing through tax payer money with this out of control travel itinerary. If he wants to go there, he should cover all costs. He should be allowed ONE SINGLE non-Camp David tax payer funded vacation trip a year.
President Trump isn't concerned about the rising costs associated with his regular trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., the White House press secretary said Wednesday.
Sean Spicer addressed the topic during his briefing, when asked by Fox 5 DC's Ronica Cleary if Trump has "any concerns about the pushback" from Florida residents and taxpayers about those costs.
Trump donated his salary. Let's just call it even.
Yeah, that's equitable.
