It was about 6-7 years ago that the Governor of Minnesota had to shut down a public school in Minnesota that was almost 100% Muslim and tried to keep non-Muslims out unless they were willing to convert. Here is another disturbing turn of events.
They are pushing Islam over here including sharia law.. you would think the left would be against this as women's rights are none in sharia law and this religion teaches to kill gays.. how the left accepts this religion for what the democrats stand for, woman's rights and gay rights , yet further the entrance of more muslims and sharia law with this belief system of hate and oppression.
Wait, why do we want students to not know anything about the world?
Cool, so you would be fine with praying before meals and Catholic teachings in public school? How much time do you want them to spend on Math and Science in between 10 religion classes?

Why do you want people to know nothing about something that's so central to the lives of billions of people and that causes such an incredible amount of conflict around the world?
From your link, something called the Christian Action Network (whatever that is) is demanding that the U.S. Department of Education "cease its Islamic education program for the nation's public schools". It then goes on to claim that the program is "made available through the PBS LearningMedia website".
He's a bit of knowledge - making something available for use isn't a mandate to use it.

Also from the link, the Christian Action Network is demanding that PBS (a private organization) remove all materials about Islam from its LearningMedia website "that violate the U.S. Constitution".
No sheet, these loons from "CAN" actually believe that they can dictate what appears on a privately owned and operated web site.
