With Susan rice running for the hills, it's unbelievable how bad the democrats have sunk with politics. Spying on Americans? Where is the resignations?

You mean the network set up by Bush, the "Angel of Death" Cheney, and their Homeland Security Czar "Let's rate security issues by a color chart" Michael Chertoff? The people who turned the US spy networks onto the American citizens? The ones who tried to tap everyone's phones?

Seems as if the Obama Administration believed the laws and US Constitution didn't apply to them.

No wonder, the patriot and American hero, Edward Snowden, had the good sense to run when he did.

Susan Rice was using the National Security Council to spy on Political opponents - she was discovered and it went to the Obama White House Council ..... who shut down the investigation.

This has nothing to do with "Foreign" Intelligence -- it was a Political Operation spying on the opposing party. More than a few need to be in JAIL.

The people on the ground collecting the information on foreign entities take it very seriously. What is done with info after it gets to the top is questionable. Spying on Americans is supposed to be illegal.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but our nation's security (spy) apparatus is available on a multipartisan basis to anyone with the required government position.

And I know you are all hot to burn Susan Rice, but no official investigator or attorney has said that she (or anyone) did anything illegal. In fact, we don't know with any specificity exactly what she or anyone did.

But it is Fox News so it has to be the truth especially since Trump gets his security information from it.

It's just another step in changing the fundamentals of America. Next we would be like North Koreans who actually believe that Dear Leader can read their thoughts.

If Republicans were champions of privacy, I would fully support their efforts, but that is clearly not the case. Case in point:

http://www.city-data.com/forum/polit...-secretly.html

The above was voted on with a split entire on party lines, with Republicans voting in favor of allowing ISPs to sell personal information without consequence or regulation.

With that said, Democrats have wimped out and been negligent by not being as forceful as they should in not allowing this kind of thing to happen, or have their own transgressions (thinking back to the Verizon phone scandal and some of the misrepresentation from the Obama administration) so they have culpability, too.
