It's time for moderate (aka sane) Republicans to accept that truth and abandon the Republican party as a lost cause. We need a good centrist party in this country, and it would draw support from both sides of the aisle.

And more importantly, it would neutralize the imbeciles.
How about the moderates just oust the bigots from the party.

Nice thought but the hard liners are in control, more motivated and better funded. As a bonus they are called names by members of their own party.

Yes! And if they don't watch it they will do as bad as California for nutty politicians.

There are idiots on both sides of the aisle and it doesn't take long for them to put their foot in their mouths.

There are times when words are taken out of context and blown up to create an outrage like in the case of Spicer.
Hitler did not use chemical weapons on the battle field but we all know he used them to great effect in murdering millions of civilians. I think we all knew what Spicer meant but his delivery was ill timed and poor. Better yet lets not bring up Hitler at all and that includes the Dems calling Trump a new Hitler.
It is just stupid.

As for the other bozo from NC he might need a history lesson or 2.

I think we should require a test of common sense and basic knowledge before any of these clowns both Dem and Rep ever think to run for public office.

I dislike MSNBC (I used to watch them and stopped in 08 when they got in bed with Obama) & I don't agree with 80% of it's content. You dislike Spicer and disagree with 80-99% of his content.

Both screw up sometimes (& sometimes get it right) and neither are going to be an important part of our Saturday.

I've compared them. They're unimportant. & neither are Trigger worthy.

I don't dislike Spicer. He's some guy on television that said something really stupid. It's something I've complained about here for a long time. Nazi comparisons or bringing them up to try and make another point is always stupid. Always.

To me it shows an ignorance.

Although he should not have brought Hitler up, it was true. Due to Hitler's own dealings with mustard gas during his stint in WWI (he had thought he went blind during a chemical attack), he was always opposed to use of chemical weapons. That is no doubt where Spicer was going, but he should not have mentioned Hitler in any reference......correct or not. It just gave ignorant libs a chance to pounce on him, and proves they will reach for anything to denounce this administration. And Pelosi is already a friggin loon to begin with.

Press Secretary is not a good fit for Spicer.

That he says goofy things from time to time is the least of it.

He stumbles over words when he reads his written report, attacks the press, and can't tell a believable lie to save his soul.

Plus, he appears anxious all the time, as if he knows he's doing a terrible job and fears this time it will be a disaster.

Surely, there's a smooth talker somewhere on team Trump.
