Most places here in Portsmouth Ohio have narcan handy and these dope heads tie up EMS services that old people rely on.The most delicate of health our seniors are being put in peril of permanent health issues due to this scourge of addiction.
They repeated this cycle of EMS rescue over and over again down the street till the idiot finally died from an overdose heard the needle was still in his arm.

Not sure what the rationale is behind enabling drug addiction. I get that it would save the addict's life, but at some point we have to let these adults deal with the consequences of their actions.
In Denmark we have 'fikserum' (= fix rooms). Clean needles and medical care are provided so the addicts don't spread deceases among themselves. First aid is provided by educated personnel in case of over dosis (OD).
Above combined with doctor described heroin (ex.), can actually help the addict from their desparete situation to a point, where they can re-integrate into society - maintain a job 8-16 and pay taxes. Or at the very least stop them from committing crime.
There are some significant legal hurdles, and not everyone agrees that this approach will help. But it is crystal clear that criminalization doesn't work.
They lost the election and like spoiled little brats, they want to be the contrarian to everything and show that they are supposedly PRO everyone even the addicts to get votes.
Didn't they try to appease the latino community that they would practically turn a blind eye to illegal latinos here and why do you think they did that? To get their votes and demonize anyone who tries to enforce the law as racists.
They did the same thing with blacks to get their votes
Now lets get the addicts and give them freedom and a 'safe space' to shoot up; maybe we will get their votes.
It's a public health issue, but I wouldn't expect you to understand.
