Lawmaker Jim Sensenbrenner, who voted for ISPs to have the power to sell their users' data, says it's OK because "No one's got to use the internet".

OK buddy, good luck applying for a job, finding an apartment, etc. I guess no one has to use telephones either, can we just wiretap them all already? It pisses me off when our government is about 40 years behind the times because the people making important decisions are all old farts like him.

Settle down OP.

Instead of email Sensenbrenner's office is still using carrier pigeons. He just hasn't got the memo yet that it's 2017. The bird should arrive shortly. No worries.

Politicians will say what ever they think gets them votes. Yes behind the time just like claiming that people can't get a voter ID is behind the times. It gets the votes of people who want to play victim.

Really? You think this is about votes? How about special interest money. Politicians respond to votes and money.

Are you more likely to vote for a politician that promises to allow the sale of your Internet behavior?
