Okay, I'll just pull your finger. It makes about as much sense as trying to reason with the Trump daddy cult members.

I think his one great ability is listening very intently.
You're right- if he could focus on what he hears for more than 5 minutes, that ability would be dangerous, but its existence has served him well enough during the short few seconds his listening connects to the rest of his brain.

If it didn't, he would have never won the election. He's always lived in a situation when just a few seconds of fierce attention has sufficed. Most of the time, anyway.

The big problem is his current position isn't one where the ability to spot the card in a verbal game of 3-card Monte will be very useful.

It's getting increasingly difficult on this site to determine whether posters have lost their damned minds or are just trolling.

He is so flexible he has reversed his positions on practically every issue leaving his supporters looking like first class suckers.

That's very impressive, not something to criticize.
And the way he agreed to stop calling China a currency manipulator, thus convincing them to stand-up to North Korea, was a stroke of genius.
And he can repeat that tactic with other world leaders whom he's originally taken a hard line against, he can bargain his respect for favors.
Whereas if you stick to one ideology for 8 years, you are restricting yourself and not adapting to your environment.
Now I know for sure you are just kidding, your post is sarcasm right? It have to be, it just have to be.

People trying to pigeonhole him (first claiming he was a puppet of Putin, now claiming he's a Bush-style warmonger) are going to be proven wrong repeatedly, as he makes decisions based on what he feels at the time. Because he's got great instincts (as he's also said before).

That is HILARIOUS!

Are you serious, that we should take Trump's own opinion as to what his best qualities are? If he was honest, he'd probably say that his best quality is his ability to bully and browbeat people into submission in terms of making deals.

He's already insulted the military horrifically, both in aggregate, and also in specifics, like his denigrating John McCain. And he has already proved himself not only a war-monger, but a back stabber. His so-called flexibility is just translating into instability.

In case this hasn't occurred to you, a president is NOT supposed to make decisions "based on what he feels at the time." No sensible person does that, but especially not a competent president. He's supposed to make decisions based on the best hard evidence, the best advice from experts, and the best prediction of results.

Flexible = a man of NO convictions and, therefore, easily swayed. Trump changes his mind based on the last person he talked to.

Have you read about weaponized propaganda? I swear some it has infiltrated City Data. It's a chilling read and there are far too many rubes out there falling for it. You have to admire it's evil brilliance. It may have very well elected our president. I hope the truth comes out soon.
