It's about time America stops trying to force it's views, it's culture, and it's way of life on everyone else in the world.
It is not on America to protect the rights of women in Kazakhstan. And the fact that we were actually spending tax payer money to do it is abhorrent to begin with.
With the nation's debt in the trillions, I say "Good"! I hope he cuts a lot of other funding from other departments as well. Time to just start funding the necessities.

If that office has been tasked with promoting women's social and economic development, preventing gender based violence and ensuring women's full participation in civic and political life around the world they have failed tremendously.
Hmmm. For those of you who are exercised about FGM - this office is the government team who take the lead on efforts to ban it internationally.
Just sayin'.
And yet they have not improved things measurably enough so as to prevent years of it happeing right in the good old U.S. of A right under their very noses.
Maybe they should spend less on trips overseas and rent a store front office space in Dearborn?
