So Trump removes environment protections because COAL and the few jobs they get are aluminum? And bragging about not polluting AFTER they remove the environmental protections? What a complete and utter joke.

How long is the country supposed to cater to Appalachia? When do they stand on their own two feet? What other part of the country demands so much but contributes so little?

Great to see they can have these fine, well-paying jobs while retaining the choice of whether to pay union extortion fees or opting not to.
LOL....well paying and non union are 2 words that should NEVER go together.

Awesome. Good for Appalachia.

But let's face it, these kind of jobs creation is a dime a dozen in the god-forsaken, failed-by-liberal-policies blue states.

Take Chicago for example, a city that is the favorite punching bag of the right-wing for supposedly failing its residents. Chicago gets these type of "amazing" job creation pretty much on a monthly basis, below are just a fraction of the jobs created when companies move into town or expand their business there, all within the last year.

So what is my point: keep your eyes on the big picture. Blue states and blue cities have their problems but they by and large get the difficult stuff right - the economy, jobs, infrastructure, culture, and quality of life. Those are things that liberals are good at.

The red states fail at the important things - the economy sucks, jobs disappear, the infrastructure is shot, and their future bleak. I don't care that you know all your neighbors and you don't lock your door at night, you can't brag about being better than the blue states when your conservative-run cities have nothing but that.

They're on welfare, disability, section 8, food stamps and Black lung benefits from Obamacare.

No, it is just a welcome side effect of good legislation.

Non sense. Of my last 3 employers, whose subsidiaries employ tens of thousands, the highest paying plants were disproportionately non-union, and still very profitable.

Conversely, I know thousands in NY employed at MW paying union dues. They will get raises, but no more
than what the typical MW earner gets.

It comes down to having solid skill sets which merit superior pay rates.
