Priebus just hinted in an interview that burning the flag may soon serve up a harsh punishment?

I would seriously like to see that happen

there is a great lack of respect here in America.

That old chestnut of a diversion? You're no longer scraping the bottom of the barrel, you're through the bottom of the barrel, most of the topsoil, and can expect to hit bedrock soon.

lol, this has already been decided, it would be a heavy lift, and a congress that struggles to pass water, is not going to waste its goodwill on something like this.

In fact this is a perfect example of a member of gov pandering to improve their standing while knowing absolutely nothing is even in the works...

The Supreme Court has already held that flag burning is protected speech.

Congress knows that and won't pass legislation banning flag burning.

If we're lucky, Trump will sign an EO banning flag burning and we'll get to watch a federal judge slap him down again. That never gets old.

SCOTUS, with conservative (Scalia and Kennedy) support mind you, already decided this.

What a waste of time that would be. The Supreme Court has already held such laws to be unconstitutional. Facts and Case Summary - Texas v. Johnson | United States Courts

So much for freedom of speech....

I wonder if he knows that burning a flag is one proper way to dispose of it?

I'm guessing that would come as a shock to the Ignoramus-In-Chief.
