Just read an article at Bloomberg about the demise of ESPN.

They give every reason in the article except the main one...of why people are leaving them in droves.

People tune in to hear about sports and sports figures...mostly as it relates to sports.

They are tuning out because they don't want to hear any more political and politically correct nonsense.

I guess it's the tree in the forest analogy....

If we don't report it, did it happen?

Talk about a stretch just for some more liberal bashing.

Why not just say that ESPN as a business has lost sight of how to cater to their audience.

Do you need to be spoon fed everything? ESPN's declining viewership and laying off employees are all over the news.

Might just have to do with them being like a third of your cable bill. To get ABC Family, HG TV and Discovery, I have to subsidize sports that I stopped watching in 1995 when Art Modell took my football team and I realized pro sports are a scam.

No, they're NOT sports, they're businesses.

are you claiming this didn't happen? or merely diverting because you're embarrassed?

To see the greatest example of politically correct nonsense in sports you need look no further than NASCAR taking points earned on the race track away from Junior for something he said in the winner's circle. Perhaps Bloomberg will soon write about the demise of NASCAR and you're gonns have a hard time blaming that on liberals.
