You should be used to it by now. That's only been going on in the U.S. for as long as recorded history.

ER healthcare is NOT healthcare. Far too many Americans have had to rely upon that as their ONLY healthcare option for generations.

You can not believe anything Trump says, assuming it makes sense to start with. Its not worth repeating.

Trumpcare increases insurance premiums for older people(age 45-65) from 3x young peoples' rates to 5x young peoples' rates. Individual states can raise the rates even higher for older people than the federal limit of 5x.

This is a massive rate increase.

Trump said he would make it cheaper yet he supports this bill which almost doubles rates for people between 45-65. This is his base.
Trumpcare decreases the insurance premiums of young people from up to 1/3rd what rich old people pay to 1/5th.

This is a massive rate decrease.

I'm still waiting on the healthcare that's going to be wonderful and paid for by the government. Surely he was telling the truth when he said that? Wasn't he?

And you really think those aged 45 - 60 are going to stand idly by and let this happen? Be honest, do you?

Trump actually could do something great. He could flip this healthcare issue into universal like most other countries have. If he did that, after all the kinks were worked out, he would actually go down in history for fixing this problem. Whether people like it or not, this is the way we are headed. Our older system was unsustainable and going out of control, which prompted the ACA. The ACA was a mess because you can't do this stuff half-a$$ed. This current plan is going to be, yet, another disaster. This whole business scheme of "healthcare" has got to stop. It only works for some people and that group is getting smaller and smaller and people are suffering. For all the money the government pays in, for all the money people pay in, we are paying FAR more than we ever would if everybody were taxed. It didn't used to be the case...we used to get great service for acceptable/moderate premiums, while other nations paid 50% of their wages toward "socialist" taxes. Thinking about what I'm paying now, plus my taxes, plus the degrading care or time of doctors, well, I think the it's flipped now.

LOL. Most everyone has single payer/universal healthcare.

I love how the press secretary sub tried to spin this today, all the people here who spun it yesterday, and here he is doubling down. Making them all look like fools.

The white house press secretary sub today:

Seriously, it doesn't get any better then this. And lets be honest...he is correct. Maybe we should try one of their systems hmmm?
Trump is saying obamacare is that bad compared to other poor healthcare systems

I can't comment on all aspects of US medical care, but I think we have the WORST Spine care in the civilized world.

Do you know we still fuse spines in situations where civilized countries use artificial discs or minimally invasive spine surgery? And why not? There's big insurance money in spine fusion, and since it's been around since the early 1900's ( Spinal Fusion: A Quick History ) any "meatball surgeon" can score this payday. Do you want competent modern spine surgery? Ha ha, there's no US money in that.

But some still believe we have the "absolute best medical care money can buy".
