It finally dawned on me what the real issue with Donald Trump is. He is a true politician. You ever hear the joke about "How do you know when a politician is lying?" Well, like the punchline Trump lies every time he opens his mouth. He contradicts his press team and spin doctors so much, you can't tell what the true narrative is. That or you think his team is entirely inept.

So, did you do a write in vote for POTUS?

Should I assume yes since Hillary was also a liar?

I voted Hillary because I thought Arizona would have been closer. Plus I couldn't vote Johnson over the Fair Tax. But I didn't vote FOR Hillary. It was a vote against Trump.

If you voted at all, you voted for a liar.
"True politicians" are liars according to you.

I always thought it was funny that Trump supporters said he was different. He is the epitome of a politician. He doesn't even pretend to care about the little people -- just rants and raves and says things to fire them up and they eat it up.

Now he's in office and I hear all we need is time. I think time will prove that Trump is full of hot air.

He says what is on his mind and I appreciate that very much. He is not a cold, calculated deceiver like Obama and Hillary who speak very slowly because they have to contrive their lies as they go.

Yes, we are not used to a politician who comes across so unpolished, but we will get used to it as the positive results keep adding up. It is better to have politicians who are genuine and a bit rough on the edges than to have connivers who look untouchable.

The real issue with Trump has been evident from the earliest days of the campaign. He is not temperamentally suited to be President. He can have the best ideas in the world (many of his policy positions are good), but without skills and experience and, especially, mental character to accomplish them he is going to be what he is: ineffective, chaotic, and a danger to the nation. He needs to go.
