How does this gel with his call to block all Muslims from entering the US? How about his admirers on this board who say that all Muslims are out to kill us? I've argued that very point with several posters here.

Islam is one of the great religions. There are literally more than a Billion people who follow it.
Don't let the media fool you. Trump did not ban muslims from entering the US and didn't even try. There are approx. 50 countries in the world that have a majority of muslims, Trump wanted to place a 90 day travel pause NOT a BAN on 7 of those countries which by the way were named by Obama as dangerous.
Not all muslims want to kill us and even Trump knows that but it is the one or 2 that can cause so much destruction or 16 that hijacked 4 airplanes on 9/11 that worry me.
As for islam hating us, in a way it does since radical muslims use the koran to justify their murdering, butchering, terrorist ways.
When he said at rallies "Folks, something is wrong with these muslims - we have to do something about it" - what he really meant was they have to do business deals with his companies and we have to sell them vast amounts of killing machines to drop on moderate muslims.
Makes perfect sense, right?
Trump appeals to authoritarians. If you are a Trump voter there is probably a 70% chance you have an authoritarian personality. That means you are going to back him no matter what - even if he...in his words...steps out into the street and kills someone.
People rarely change and those authoritarians only learn after their countries and/or lives to to ashes (Germany, Japan, etc.) They don't learn by reason and logic - whatever the Boss does is right no matter what.
