Not much different than the "persecution" cries from the Christian Right because they don't like the Starbucks Holiday cup design. The Constitution also protects us from the far-right just like it does from the far left. Do people not see that the extremes on both sides are authoritarian and anti-freedom?
I've never heard anyone cry persecution. Starbucks can put Santa, Jesus or Trump in a speedo on their cups. Free Country. Chick File can choose to close on Sunday (or Tuesdays between 1pm & 4pm). Free Country.
You and I can choose to spend our money at either....or not.
But don't take away my right to call Trump an idiot or Obama a Socialist. This issue is WAY bigger than Trump, Obama, you....or me. (or the Christian Right or Starbucks)

You are comparing people complaining about coffee cups, with people labeling any speech that they don't agree with as hate speech, and using that to stop free speech, and justify their acts of violence against the people they politically disagree with?
