Clapper on Trump camp and Russia: "To say that my statement was a flat denial of any collusion, that's not correct"

So Trump voters....do you suggest that the media not report this, not talk about it, not share it.

Does the media not talk about how it sounded like it was a denial of collusion but we see now he's backing down.

Does that make you have cause for concern...why go back and reword, give new meaning -- hmmm

These are questions I have. I don't want the media to say -- oh this is nothing....and dismiss it.

I'm like wait a second...hmmm -- again something that seems to suggest there is something there.

i don't know what yet...I'm not freaking out or ranting or raving...just curious and I want someone to keep checking this to see what is there if anything.

Blame the media -- but at some point you are going to have to admit that these people contradict themselves, aren't flat out denying anything.......it's all so sketchy.

And maybe they are just covering their lily white behinds...but we have to find out.

Do you mean the media who helped Hillary Clinton to cheat at the debates, and when she actually did so, decided to hide it?

Why would anyone in their right mind be listening to them now?

Clapper is not backing down. He left his job on Jan 20 and was not privy to all the evidence since it was being investigated as criminal matter and as DNI not all things went across his desk.

Clapper, like many skilled political beasts, are quite careful to not flat out deny or flat out affirm pretty much anything. This allows them latitude to say 'that's not exactly what I meant' if either it's politically expedient or if they are nitpicked or they just don't want to actually say. Either way, no matter which side you're on in this whole Russia story, Clapper didn't help either side. He engaged political doublespeak and stuck to it. In other words, he really didn't say anything of substance which can be used to further one narrative or the other.
