It is a bit of a hoot, tho, that even though Goldman Sachs is heavily represented in the trump administration, this caused the CEO to tweet for the first time ever.

"he used it to criticize President Trump's decision to back out of the Paris climate pact."Today's decision is a setback for the environment and for the U.S.'s leadership position in the world. #ParisAgreement," he said."

However at least China has committed to reducing emissions, as for emissions being clean, what utter nonsense.
U.S. is reducing dependence on fossil fuels even without Paris climate agreement

My google search led me to conclude China is still building coal plants. Check out Greenpeace who did an analysis on this subject.

Silly thing.

Russia would love for the USA to be forced to close its coal mines and shutdown oil fracking.

Nowhere in the Agreement is a dollar amount mentioned. The Agreement does not require any Party to mandatory contribution. What is frequently mentioned in the Agreement is "nationally determined contribution" and it's pretty vague just what that is.

The estimates being bantered about are opinions, nothing more. The reason we are leaving is to keep fat cat donors happy.

No, Barry hated America and it's world dominance, Trump embraces it. Obama hates the average American's high standard of living and sought to destroy it, Trump embraces it.

Two very different Presidents. Obama hates America, Trump loves it.

YEAH,RIGHT! Let's see who destroys America by turning the rest of the world against us, so no ally can even be found, let alone any who would want to do business with us! That POS moron is making The U.S. become Isolated thanks to Trump!

Politicians made this political, not scientists. If you knew anything about scientists you'd know they police themselves like few groups do. They require massive piles of evidence to support a claim. When 97% of scientists are on board with something, it's fact.

US companies are investing in renewable energy because it's profitable, not in an effort to save the planet.

The government typically steps in with regulations only after repeated attempts to stop pollution of our water, the air or our land. They also step in if US companies are putting Americans in danger of injury or death. The government NEVER enacts regulations "just so they can have control over us." That's paranoia talking there.

As for consumers, they are rarely as educated about a product as the corporations selling them are. So buy things that are bad for them without knowing it's bad for them. The tobacco companies knew smoking cigarettes can cause lung cancer but were advertising cigarettes as being healthy!
