I believe you face-palmed yourself a bit too hard, you seem confused.
It's Trump who's all over the place in calling for a Muslim travel ban and then skips over Muslims from one of the most radical Muslim countries and kisses their butts instead.
You can't keep it straight because of the political biases in your head.
You can't for one instance admit that the whole Saudi thing is shaky. That it makes you uncomfortable that Trump is so buddy buddy with them and that we are beholden to them now with all these deals.
That's the problem is that blind loyalty is blind.....
If you believe the ban is to be effective and is to be targeting the countries most like to fund and provide terrorists you can't leave out Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Order was done for show. It is not an effective tool to truly provide security to our borders or our country.
That's the point -- we get it.
I would support extreme measures to improve border procedures, vetting, etc. but not a ridiculous simplified ban that is more about show than effectiveness.

Obama Admin ceased processing refugee applications from Iraq for 6 months in response to a specific threat.
Obama Admin ceased to allow entry from specific visa exempt countries when the holders were dual nationals.
For example, an Iraqi who bought citizenship from Malta could no longer use the Malta passport to enter the US without a visa.
How dare you go after Saudi Arabia -- they loved our President and his wife. They fawned all over him. The USA entered into big huge deals with them...Millions of dollars. Sold our soul to the devil and bragged about it.
