China is a collectivist dinosaur. They don't care about "climate change", they only care about ridding the world of human freedom and advancing the cause of the HOLY STATE. They only want to crush any nation that even pretends to support human freedom. The "regulations" that arise from the nonsense will only serve to destroy our economy while allowing them to continue to grow their economy. They have been dumping dollars as fast as they can and buying up silver and gold by the tons while lobbying for the Yuan to be the new international standard fiat toilet paper "currency". That will throw us back into the early 1800's as we have been robbing the entire world with our magic green toilet paper counterfeiting operation we have here. The "dollar" would go "reichsmark" if we were no longer the Rothschild standard. The only "goal" of China is to destroy human freedom and elevate the State. They are, and will always be the enemy of human freedom, and thus the supposed symbol of human freedom. The experiment that failed...
Yeah..pretty accurate. To sum it up for China:
Freely use child and slave labor to make cheap crap while supporting a $15 minimum wage for America to price them out of any and all markets
Not have to worry about any enviormental regulations that cost anything, while demanding America pay billions of dollars to fix China
Demand huge tariffs on ALL goods that are allowed to be imported into China, while being outraged if Trump even suggests tariff on Chinese crap unloaded by the boatloads every day
Doing everything in their power to make the US a complete nation of consumers, not producing anything ao we can be 100% dependent on China for everything.
The US holds itself to a higher standard to LEAD THE WORLD. That is still intact militarily. But not so much other areas. The Auto industry and Big Oil held us back from where we COULD HAVE BEEN. Heck, they killed the US streetcars back in a day. Our passenger trains did not have to go as far down either.
LA would still be in major SMOG DAYS if not for FORCED STANDARDS. Houston is getting more smoggy as its hard industries flourish. Nothing wrong with TOP INVESTMENTS IN THESE ----> so called renewable energy sources.
Seems Europe and Asia has to build the future in TRANSIT w/driveress trains TO MOST FUTURSTIC SKYSCRAPERS with parks in the buildings and solar. Check out Houston and Dallas skyscrapers to compare? More simple boxes just to commute to work in.
We are losing the edge in a Moto of ----> "make no small Plans" we do far more small ones. These WORLD cities build GRAND SUBWAYS ad ELEVATED AUTOMATED TRAIN TRANPORT. We sputter with some new STREETCARS in our Sunbelt cities. LA and Seattle at least some new subways.
We want a wall and save Oil, gas and coal as if ---> the FUTURE YET? well its a SMALLER PORTION IN REALITY. Why the Saudi's are building Dubai while they can from oil wealth. They know it s less the future as a fuel. But we do need it for other things we derive from it.
We think like we are the OLD WORLD SOMETIMES? Do some really think ---> CALIFORNIA IS LIKE A LIBERAL WASTELAND TO BE THROWN AS IF UNDER A BUS? We don't need the state? Let them SECEDE?

Well, let's see, California has already reduced GHG emissions substantially while still growing the economy. I thought right wingers assured us that cleaning up the environment would be an economic disaster?
As for China, they've set a goal to peak CO2 emissions by 2030 and reduce CO2 emissions per unit GDP by 60%, as well as committing to increase renewables to 20% of energy consumption and add 4.5 billion cubic meters of forest to the 2005 level.
This is the trouble you run into when your entire worldview is based on literally nothing but a series of lies and exaggerations.
China is already taking action to improve the environment, with the understanding that they're not as thoroughly developed as the US so they won't hit their peak emissions for some time. Incidentally, the US emits 2.75 times as much CO2 per person as China.
California is already cutting emissions and building a healthy, forward-looking economy.
Reality is much different from what you've been led to believe. Rational people are simply looking at what they can do to move to cleaner energy sources while maintaining a healthy economy. Somehow the right has spun that into this insane, utterly delusional notion that a bunch of tree-hugging lefties are going to waltz in, blow up every single non-renewable electricity plant, shutter all the factories, and blow up the economy.

California is now increasingly taking over the leadership role left void by the Trump Administration.
There's nothing to lead. Climate Change is a normal function of Inter-Glacial Periods. When you can prove the Earth's average global temperature should be 57.2°F and no higher, then get back to us.

Let's see, after California figures out how to pay for its high speed trains, massive pension obligations, it's new $400 million a year single payer healthcare plan plus kick in for the Paris Climate plan, Californians will be lucky to keep 10 cents on every dollar they earn. Yeah, Jerry Brown is a genius.
China does nothing unless there's a profit in it. I'm guessing they are seeing a lot of suckers ripe for the picking in California.
