What took so long? Of course Europe is facing terrorism. religious extremism knows no boundaries and nothing is off limits.

As to Trump being our "savior" against terrorism, when he puts together something that legally and effectively makes us even a tiny bit safer, we will all applaud the effort. Words and promises do not make any difference. Stp Tweeting, stop golfing, stop campaigning and get to work on this very important issue!

Start putting traitorous judges in prison for a start.

Muslims in America are better integrated here. They become convenience store owners or engineers in disproportionate numbers thus are less hostile as life is decent.

Dont take this to mean I want to import all of Syria into the US. I dont.

Europe allowed millions of Muslim refugees into their countries for humanitarian reasons, only to find out the Muslims weren't as humanitarian as they were. Hindsight is always 20/20, but I wonder if they had to do it all over again if they would go about it differently.

Interesting data:
-Most Europeans polled think that Islam clashes with Western Values
-Most Europeans polled think that their individual country will experience a major terrorist attack within 12 months
-Plurality of Europeans polled think Germany needs a Bigger Role in the World and the US a smaller role

Just France alone:
-70% of French polled say that their national identity is threatened
-48% plurality (2nd lowest country) say Islam clashes with Western values (only 20% said Islam is compatible with the West)
-81% of French say that they think France will suffer a major terrorist attack within 12 months

Interesting data, if these numbers keep on rising, one might expect a change in immigration policy.
Yes, it is interesting they all think the risk of a terror attack is much higher since Trump took office, than before it.

Data presented by the sell out media to brainwash people vs common sense.
^^
That's an interesting scenario.

IMO,
If there was truth in the "data" provided by this article then Le Pen would have had a land sliding victory over Macron.

Geert Wilders would have been ruling over The Netherlands and no body would knew who Angela Morkel was?

And obviously, Sadiq Khan would have never been elected the mayor of London.

I think all religions clash with Western Values really (values such as tolerance and acceptance of gays and lesbians, gay marriage, not thinking the world was created by an imaginary creature etc. etc.) but I am friends with people of many religions (my parents are Christians, my bosses are Muslim) and enjoy discussing our different values - so long as they aren't changing the laws then it doesn't really matter that they with Western Values.

For the first time though I do think a terrorist attack will possibly happen in Finland as one was foiled recently. I think keeping a closer eye on anyone returning from war zones and a closer eye on radicalisation on the internet and taking action the moment a credible threat is heard of instead of waiting for something to happen is what needs to be done right now. I don't want a change in immigration policy, I think the policy is pretty fine as it is right now.

Unfortunately, the future belongs to fundamentalist Christians and Muslims. Why? Because their respective religions tell them to

1) Have lots of babies, regardless of whether or not they can afford to have them
2) Indoctrinate their children with the religion
3) Spread the religion to as many other people as possible
4) Die for their faith if necessary
5) Subjugate anyone who is an "unbeliever"

Such belief systems are very good at surviving, for obvious Darwinian reasons.

Unless secular people are willing to have more children and limit "freedom of religion", the candle lit during the Enlightenment will be extinguished forever.

Is Trump to blame for the recent string of terrorist strikes in Europe?
