Easy answer is Muslims are in if your a democrat and Jews are out. Never mind that most Jews are Democrats.
Multiply that about 5 times if you're as far left as some of these people are. The fact that some Muslims advocate death to homosexuals is just an unfortunate and insignificant detail and is not more important than carrying the party line.

the Actually content of the article says the group organizing is pro Palestinian state and that the the Jewish State is against that.


They are right. They state officially supports a state solution, but does nothing to help create one, and to some they hinder it.


Seems to me, both sides handled this poorly.

The marchers probably knew this and brought the flags anyways, and the group running it probably didnt have a list of things they didnt allow.
