Here is all you need to know about CNN in 3 easy links.

First, women need paid family leave, it's a human right - http://archive.fo/95N8h

A bit over a month later, Trump proposes paid family leave - http://archive.fo/3w6ZL

Several days go by then the CNN decides family leave hurts women - http://archive.fo/uH6yn

CNN was for paid family leave, before Trump supported it, after that it's harmful to women.

Ummm.... CNN and other news organizations regularly publish editorials from across the political spectrum. CNN in particular is known for having loonies on from both sides in the name of "balance."

Yeah, sounds to me like CNN is covering the issues by providing a platform for voices other than their own. Unlike, say, breitbart or infowars.

Maybe the OP is just used to one-sidedness, and thinks the fact that CNN is willing to publish more than one point of view is somehow a bad thing.

The fact that it is published in the opinions section and has a disclaimer on each opinion piece explaining the political biases of the writers and clearly stating that they are intended to be the opinion of the writer and not CNN should make that completely clear.

...The complete lack of media literacy among Americans is just astounding.

Let's see they are both editorials, one from someone who works at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, one from the Cato Institute. Two organizations with very different ideologies, shocking they would differ on it....

That is an opinion piece by the right-wing Koch-funded Cato Institute.

That ignorance is 2/3 of the problem. But hey, the conservative party says it's not cool to be smart.

The first and last one are opinion pieces, both of which have a disclaimer stating clearly that the views expressed in them were the views of the author and not CNN (you didn't even read your own links...).

The second is a report, obviously. It's not an opinion piece and just points out things that might be happening.

So, I learned nothing new about CNN, but I did learn things about you.

I think ordinary literacy is sufficient to understand the word 'opinion'.

Makes wonder what kind of school the OP graduated from.
