Trump however failed to follow through on his campaign promise to reveal dirt on Clinton the next week. He instead focused a June 13 (the following Monday) event in New Hampshire on national security issues.

Rather curious that he teased everyone about dirt on Clinton at about the same time his son was meeting with the Russians expecting to get damaging information. If Junior is to be believed that his meeting with the Russian government attorney yielded nothing, it might help explain why Trump never followed up the next week on his promise of dirt on Clinton. It would also however mean that Trump was actually aware of his son's meeting and its purpose. If not, are we just to believe that all of these things are just random unrelated coincidences?

Anyone who thinks that 45 was ignorant of this meeting is deluding themselves.

Trump is not only the worst President we've ever had, he is also one of the worst liars in recent memory. Didn't you hear him tell us that he knew nothing about the meeting between Don Jr. and Russian attorney to get compromising information on Clinton? Even though he was in New York on the very same day? Now Donnie Sr. surely wouldn't LIE to us, right truthseekers? Even though he has been caught in lie after lie after lie?

There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that Donnie Jr. ran to his daddy as soon as he got the good news about the Clinton emails, he wanted his pat on the head and an atta-boy as soon as he could get it. Every day that we learn more about the shenanigans of Trump and his family you begin to understand exactly how deep the corruption goes. We tried to hang on to some shred of hope that it was all a gimmick, a side-show, and that finally we would learn that Trump deep down was really a patriot, and that he would set aside the campaign rhetoric and take the job seriously. But now we have to admit that we were fools to ever think that Trump or his cronies could be trusted for a minute.

Sadly, none of it matters. It doesn't matter how much proof there is of the sleazy and illegal and potentially treasonous dealings of the Trump Mafia. The GOP just doesn't give a damn as long as he will appoint right wing nut jobs to the bench and will sign off on anything that puts more money into the pockets of the wealthy.

What Hillary Clinton may or may not have done is not the issue here. The issue is what the Trump team may or may not have done.

Throws a major blow to any credibility that Donald Sr. didn't know about the meeting. Not "proof", but perhaps some of the most damning info yet.

Dots are starting to connect. I hope this info is thoroughly vetted, and if true, is acted upon.

I'm just waiting for the "butter emails!!" defense so that I can get BINGO!

The last comment is interesting, though. Disregarding the fact that it is based purely on hypotheticals, we all learned that "two wrongs don't make a right" in kindergarten, yes?

"HRC, too!" is as weak as it gets.

We've all been had by Trump Family Incorporated. The sheer arrogance and disdain for our country's basic democratic institutions is mind numbing. And they will probably get away with it because the Republican majority in Congress doesn't want to rock the boat that would compromise their political agenda. Welcome to Putin's America.

Vladimir Putin hates Hilary. This is more or less a fact. Why do you think he subverted our election process in an attempt to get Trump elected? No, Hilary wouldn't have done the same thing. In her entire career, she has never worked with the russians to enrich herself or used her office to help the russians gain any sort of advantage. That is all on Trump and his family. Please.Educate.Yourself.
