Sanders would have been better for them likely than Hillary? Anyone know?

Sanders and Hillary did not matter. They needed a puppet and tool. Trump was compromised to Russian oligarchs and not all that bright. Trump was the perfect mark.

Agree. Sanders likely would have been even less malleable than Clinton. Appearances do seem to indicate that Trump is beholden to Putin in some way. He's a blustery/crusty cantankerous bully with EVERYONE but Putin, with whom he seems very deferential. You don't even have to listen to him talk, which I don't. Just watch the body language.

To be useful to the Russians, they needed a person that was susceptible to flattery, impulsive, not very intelligent, and would be a willing dupe in their efforts to create leverage to be used against them later. Out of all the candidates, Trump was by far the easiest target. Just look at how easy it was to get his son and two top campaign staffers to meet with a Russian agent that promised information from the Russian government they could use. They didn't even stop to think about the long term implications of what they were doing.

Russia has been trying to interfere with our elections since the 60s .

The only reason Libs care now is because the anti-lib nightmare made that t into the white house.

Sanders would have certainly been better for the RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS. Odd that IF the RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS were going to Steal the Election from The Presumptive Queen, that they failed to Steal it for Sanders.

I'm still trying to figure out HOW those RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS-RUSSIANS kept Hillary from going to Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania ..... all those BLUE States she lost. It's a mystery how they did that.

. Perhaps Fusion GPS can answer that question . Looks like they are the "source" of a lot of RUSSIA-RUSSIA-RUSSIA.

Why do you say that? Do you think Putin cares what kind of health care system Americans have or how they pay for college? Why would he give a damn?

What Putin cares about is restoring some semblance of the soviet power on the international scene. And having an american president either unsuspicious of his motives or willing to ignore them would be very helpful in that endeavor.

There are probably people who feel that way, but there are many people who didn't vote for Trump who are NOT liberals, who just happen to feel some allegience to this country.

It's obvious here that no matter what these clowns do, all YOU care about is that "your man" is office. He can do anything he wants.

The fact is if most of us did what Jr. did: greedily accepted a meeting with a foreign adversary to gain advantage in something, we probably would have been fired by most of our employers and had our allegience to the country questioned for not reporting it to the FBI.

I think it's really very interesting that you seem to be defending this.
