So let Obamacare fail as it was destined to do, then we will be back to where we were before Obama lied to get it passed.
My premiums and deductibles will go way down, and I will be happier than I am with this abomination.
Then we can make adjustments to improve the old system instead of trying to have the government run and screw up 1/5 of our economy.
Republicans can't even get their bill to the floor. How are the MINORITY Dems blocking the bills?

And why do you care?

You're a Canadian who lives in Canada.

It doesn't effect you personally.

Re the bolded, after Sen. Ted Kennedy died, Scott Brown was elected to his seat to prevent the Democrats from having a filibuster proof majority re the final vote on the ACA. Rather than respecting the voters of Massachusetts, scumbags Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi rationalized an unusual use of 'reconciliation' in order to avoid that confrontation. Obama would have only had a simple majority for a proper vote, which would have failed.

That is a LIE!

A Look Back At How The President Was Able To Sign Obamacare Into Law Four Years Ago
Quote:
Going into the 2008 elections, the Senate consisted of 49 Democrats, 49 Republicans, and two Independents (Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and Bernie Sanders of Vermont) who caucused with the Democrats. When the smoke cleared from those elections, the Democrats picked up eight seats to increase their majority to 57-41 (although Democrat Al Franken’s recount victory was not official until July 7). With the two Independents, the Democrats were one vote shy of the supermajority magic number of 60 they needed to ward off any filibuster attempts and move forward with broad healthcare reform legislation.

But on April 28, 2009, the dynamics changed when Pennsylvania Republican Arlen Spector changed parties, giving Senate Democrats that coveted 60th vote.

Now the Democrats had a safe majority in the House and a filibuster-proof supermajority of 60 in the Senate. That scenario lasted only four months before fate intervened. Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts died on August 25, 2009, leaving the Democrats, once again, with 59 seats (counting the two Independents). Exactly one month later, on September 25, Democrat Paul Kirk was appointed interim senator from Massachusetts to serve until the special election set for January 19, 2010 – once again giving the Democrats that 60th vote. But the intrigue was just beginning.

...

They decided to have the House take up the identical bill that the Senate passed on Christmas Eve. It passed on March 21, 2010, by a 219 – 212 vote. This time, no Republicans came on board, and 34 Democrats voted against. President Obama signed the ACA legislation two days later on March 23.
Brown was elected in January 19. The Christmas Eve vote for MA was Kirk, not Brown. The House approved the Kirk voted bill, Obama signed the Kirk voted bill.

All I saw is your first line...the DEMOCRATS ARE BLOCKING everything....Health care right now has nothing to do with Democrats blocking -- its the Republican party that can't agree.

If you can't see that basic fact then what the @#$% matters what else you have to say.

You know.. Trump can suck it.

He doesn't have a choice; he OWNS IT.

When you are a leader anywhere in the military or private sector, one of the first things you learn about leadership is that you own where you are and where you take your team from there. You don't get to say you want to lead but take a pass on the accountability when things don't work the way you wanted them. Any respectable leader with integrity knows this.

Then again, Trump is not a respectable leader with integrity, so his inability to behave like one is not surprising.

Since they initially declared "repeal & replace", Republicans had SEVEN YEARS to figure out what they would do. Republicans own the White House, the House of Reps, and the Senate. Republicans sabotaged ACA and took out key subsidies to ensure that it would degrade so they could campaign about what a "mess" it is now.

The fact that they couldn't get their **** together after multiple tried is no one's fault but theirs, and they OWN IT. And it just shows that they have NO solutions.

You wanna be a leader...start acting like it.

This is a clown show. Trump is the lead Clown. He has no leadership ability. Republicans have no idea how to govern. This is all the Republicans fault for promising a better plan and delivering NOTHING. They insult all of us by trying to cut medicaid and then tell us it's better for us. (like we are all dummies.) shame on them...
