Maddow covered this with a nice chart. It showed the historical numbers of both parties for registrations in the year preceding an election.

2017 has the dems with 209.vs 28 republican challengers!
the highest on the 17 years chart before this was about 78 for the Republicans in 2009 the year before their record sweep.

It bodes well for dems. 209 is rather a lot, hopefully it correlates directly with GOP's 78 from the 2010 elections....

They are well ahead in recruiting challengers to try to unseat Republicans. A study released Monday found that 209 Democrats have registered with the Federal Election Commission and raised at least $5,000 for their campaigns — 16 months before voters cast their ballots.

And no matter the outcome there will still be war, higher taxes, stifling debt, less freedom..

Quantity (Democrats) vs. quality (Republicans). The Dems messages are anti-white male, violence is AOK, men in women's locker rooms, Middle America is racist and uneducated, and America is a horrible country.

The only economic failures I see are in Republican led states. Low on quality of life indicators because they keep giving freebies to the economic elite running their states while neglecting their people and infrastructure. No thank you.

Will Rachel once again cry during her election night coverage? Or has she become used to Democrats getting trounced??

By that perspective, the Republican Party message can be viewed as anti-Black/anti-minority, discrimination is okay, Blacks and Hispanics are a drain on society, and the coasts are Satan's playgrounds.

I believe you have red and blue states confused...

I moved from NY to florida.
Quality of life improved. Cost of living decreased. SIGNIFICANTLY.
0 state income tax.
Property tax is 1/5th of what I used to pay. And that includes garbage removal in the property tax too the tax bill is broken down to show all services you pay for...

Oh and my firearms are legal!

Those are some interesting numbers. Hopefully the enthusiasm will continue - and days like to seem custom designed to make that happen!
