Poor baby Trump. Things aren't going well for him so he wants to change the rules.
New flash - his opinion on matters concerning the house and senate is beginning to get tuned out. He is unreliable and impulsive. He has little leverage and his recent actions have only made matters worse. The Republican majorities on the hill are beginning to look at him just as a mere signer, not a leader to follow.
President Trump is fighting for his supporter with his tweets today. The Senate filibuster rule has to go !!!!
As the President said the Dems would change it in a heart beat if they could and will if they get in the position Repubs are now. They were the first to break the rule on appointments and they will ram down their policy's without regrets.
While their childish decision to play politics with our country may not come at a cost to them, they are selfishly hurting the millions of working Americans who voted for a new direction for our nation.
The GOP and McConnell are cowards and babies. What good is the rule if it blocks their ability to accomplish anything. They can do away with the rule and get done what the people elected them to get done.
Washington D.C. status quo IN BOTH PARTIES hate what President Trump is doing. Fighting for his supporters.
What is Trump doing for his supporters? Encouraging police brutality via yesterday's speech? Talking about women and yachts and lambasting a former president, like at the BSA jamboree? Deregulating laws that help protect the environment? I'm trying to figure out what he is actually doing besides tweeting, attending pep rallies and playing golf. Trump wants to surround himself with all his minions in the White House, to be as non-transparent as he can be. He has never understood that he works for we the people. And not just the 30 something percent who are smitten with him, but the majority of the country as well. He needs to grow up and govern like an adult. And you better believe he doesn't give a rat's ass about the healthcare of this country. He just wanted something, anything, that he could sign so he could say he repealed Obamacare. He's so thin skinned that he can't stand to have anyone in his orbit who doesn't bow down and kiss his ring. The boy who would be king.
I agree. Maybe the best thing is to change the name of the country to Trumplandia, have a coronation and declare him as king and his family as the royal family, disband Congress and put our fate into their hands.
We can declare this experiment that was created back in the 1700s a nice try, but it just didn't work out.
One last thing. We can change July 4th to Supreme Leader Day.
You joke, but that's basically what his followers want. Anything to punish the people they hate for reasons they cannot articulate and which aren't based remotely on facts.

This Administration is a dumpster fire, with people leaping out of it fleeing for their lives, and the President just keeps on pouring more gas on it. Screw the Fake President and his moronic childish tweets.
Trump and yourself are wasting your breath. There are good reasons the filibuster rule exists. Democrats don't want 100% of republican legislation forced down their throats when they lose Congress. Republicans don't want 100% of democrat legislation forced down their throats when they lose Congress. It would lead to a very unstable country. One year, you might get a single payer health insurance plan passed into law. Four years later, another Congress might not only try to repeal that they might also try to repeal medicare.
The filibuster rule cushions the swing between political ideologies that occurs after an election. Its a good thing. The Founding Fathers gave us a two-house or bicameral legislature for a reason. George Washington saw the Senate as a "cooling saucer" where legislation passed by the House would "cool down" before automatically becoming law. The process is deliberately designed to slow the passage of legislation. Senators see that and have added the filibuster as a further refinement. National legislation requires more than a mere majority. It requires a true consensus and it should in many cases.
The funniest thing of all though is that our "brilliant" liar in chief doesn't seem to understand that he lost the health care vote even though it only took 50 (not sixty) votes to prevail. He should worry about getting a simple majority. No need to concern himself with sixty votes. It just isn't ever going to happen.
