I live in an area that is directly affected by sea level rise and after more than a dozen years watching I am convinced that there is a rising ocean. I do not agree with the Dems and their alarmist attitude and I do not agree with the climate deniers but we are somewhere in the middle of both arguments.
My wife and I walked on the beach yesterday to go see a dead whale and we were amazed at the amount of erosion and the changes to the beach. There is a house on the cliff that has lost over 20 feet of their backyard due to erosion and the next step is they will have to take it down before it goes over the edge.
If NASA says one thing and it is not picked up by the media it just goes to show how deeply the media has bought into the Democrat agenda. We need to hear from both sides of the issue, we are big enough to make up our own minds.
I wonder..if instead of cherry-picking report or just blindly posting a link from a dubious source..if just a simple Google search would improve your posts?
I take no position of the cause of many of our changes--but the observable data shows something is happening...maybe time to plan a little..for our grandchildren's futures.
I wonder if removing all the debris from the ocean would have an impact? It's amazing how far the water level goes down when I get out of the bathtub.
Considering how ~71% of the earth's surface are the oceans, you'd have to take a heck of a lot of debris out of the ocean to make a noticeable difference. Plus new ocean-going vessels are being added all the time due to an increase in world trade, making the debris you'd have to take out even more. Where would you put all that debris?
I am guessing it would be impractical on so many levels.

It may be impractical, but I'd be curious to know the impact of all the garbage and other crap.

I'm sorry, you LIKE the fact that Trump locked the EPA down. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the corporations are all about the bottom line and dollar, they don't care about what their company does to you. They don't care if they poison your water or litter your land, they just want PROFIT. Government is to protect the people from companies environmental harm. Are you are OKAY that the United States COULD become like a developing nation environmentally? Last time I checked voluntary environment self private regulations are a farce, demonstrated in India.
Could you provide a link to a study or scientific article about the falling sea levels?
I could not find any link of that nature attributed to NASA..after extended Google search.
