Obamacare is essentially Romneycare, and was always bipartisan at its core.
Trying to apply what worked in the small and wealthy state of Mass. is not very smart. Mass had a high participation rate before Romneycare and a 99% participation rate with Romneycare. That is why it worked there, that has not occurred with Obamacar and why it's failing.
What does this have to do with anything? Many state programs would never work Nationally.
Romney just signed a bill the Dem controlled state brought to him. He was not responsible for the bill.
Ocare is a huge failure and caused many of our costs to go up 150-200%. My coverage went from $450 a month to $1080. I am at a point where I can not afford the coverage and a much larger deductible.

Haha, exactly.
If Obamacare was SO bad, surely the republicans had something better in mind. They've had years to think about it.
How embarrassing this must be for Trump. "We're going to repeal and replace on day 1." LOL!!

Who was it raised the prices again? Wasn't the government; that was your insurance companies who would dearly love to see the end of any government controls placed upon them. You think you're being screwed now...just repeal O'care and watch the Insurance CEO's dance on your front lawns.
They mostly delayed actions until TeamObama could Bug Out of town - 43 of those "changes" were Unilateral Obama changes. There were a few "tweaks" to satisfy the Lobbyists and the big changes came from the Courts. ObamaCare was specifically written for the Executive Branch (Secretary of Health & of Treasury) to control - but it wasn't funded properly by Congress. The States Medicaid Blackmail scheme was ruled unconstitutional and the "fines" were ruled a Tax.
The insurance companies & Congress & their Staff got a Taxpayer Bailout annually - to the tune of Billions.
President Trump is not in lined to continue those Bailouts (Courts have already ruled the Insurance Bailout unconstitutional) and Pelosi is probably more worried about the Congressional Bailout than anything else.
I've posted the graph of the interconnected mess of ObamaCare many times - it can't be "fixed".
The public will NEVER accept Billions in Taxpayer dollars to Corporate Insurance & Hospital Bailouts while their premiums, deductibles increase & choice of care continue to decline.
Democrats OWN this, it has failed & none of the CongressCritters on either side of the aisle want to wade into the mess. They care ONLY about their own skins, careers & Political Power.
