Is "Good for her" the same as a Southern "bless her heart"?
No. I wish her well. I can't stand her husband, and nothing would make me happier than to see him step down, but I'm willing to take Melania on her own terms. She has a role to fill, and this is a good start.
Myth. There are videos of him acting the same way to indicate someone who is hysterical. Google it.
in that video trump's palms are turned upward, in this video his palms are curled downward mocking kovaleski's disability.
trump initially tried to defend his actions by claiming to have never seen kovaleski. this was a lie. kovaleski had regularly interviewed trump in his office along with other reporters. trump's claim is also contradicted by his own statement in the video "poor guy, you should see this guy...."
also, trump's claim in the video that kovaleski walked back his story is false. kovaleski never did. what kovaleski "couldn't remember" was the exact name of the police officer he had talked to when he called the police department for confirmation 15 years previously. it wasn't a relevant detail so he hadn't made note of it. he stands by the facts in his article.

i've got mixed feelings on melania. part of me wants to completely separate her from her husband's actions but..... she's not completely innocent either. she defended trump's birther crusade, lied about writing her own speech at the RNC ( which turned out to be partially plagiarized from a michelle obama speech ), and when she picked "cyber-bullying" as her pet cause she completely undermined herself by justifying her husband's cyber-bullying as "giving back 10x harder then he got".
