All of the following announcements were made between March 2014 and September 2016, when a certain president whose last name began with an "O" was in office. Interesting the Trump cultists weren't writing "MAGA" when these things were announced.

Me neither, but I recall Trump putting down Ford for making product in Mexico while he himself made product in China. I'd prefer seeing someone walk the talk they talk.

Obviously, they all have done something right.
I doubt you could find any car these days with 100% content made in one country, the industry's been global for quite a while and IMO it's made for better products the consumer benefits from. I've actually seen some automotive electrical parts labeled 'Made in Monaco' which kinda surprised me, not exactly a place I'd associate with manufacturing.

No worries, I learned a long time ago that hate only saps energy from the hater and does nothing to the hated and suffer no jealousy. Too many enjoyable things to do to waste energy on hate.
I don't think presidents should be blamed for economy.
What a president can do is propose legislation and take certain policy decisions in order to convince congress to pass legislation that can affect the economy.
This said, I dated a guy from Michigan. His dad did not allow anybody to park a foreign car in front of his house because he was an auto worker. No Mercedes-Benz, no Toyota. I can certainly understand why. can't blame people for thinking this way. He was a great man, by the way.
So foreign auto makers should make their cars in America, at least create more jobs here.

America is coming back, GDP is rising, regulations are getting cut, interest rates are rising, taxes should fall (maybe not bc it involves our failed congress), jobs are booming, optimism at highest levels, wages should rise soon.
But let's only talk about Russia for 3 more years on top of the 1 year already since it impacts everyday people's lives more than their jobs, taxes or healthcare.
